Very pleased with help and advice from Preston Surgery since we moved to the area 4 years ago. Concerned by apparent intervention by group known as "drdoctor" which seemed more interested in removing people from waiting lists and which I found impossible to communicate with as I do not have a smartphone. I am waiting for an appointment with DCH dermatology and had to resort to sending a letter to DCH by e-mail and copied to yourselves as I was very anxious that I might be removed from the waiting list.

I contacted the surgery yesterday about my husband who was quite poorly. The receptionist insisted that I phone 999 even though my husband didn’t want me to. An ambulance was sent (with us in under 5 minutes) and he was taken to the hospital where he is still receiving treatment. I believe he might have died without the intervention and prompt action of the receptionist and the 999 service. We have an excellent GP (Tanya Stead) who is always very attentive to our needs and we were determined that he only wanted an appointment with her. However, the receptionist was absolutely right on this occasion and my husband needed urgent care.

Recently visited my gp , first by phone call then actual visit on the same day, quick to do blood tests and urine tests , also phoned me back the next day to see how i was feeling, made me another appointment that day with another gp as she herself was not working that day and she wasnt happy with how I said I was feeling, that gp referred me to A&E and i am currently in hospital awaiting an opperation. Huge thanks to my doctor , Dr Young for the amazing care and attention she gave me and to Dr Waldron . I dont visit my GP often as I am normally fit and healthy but incredibly thankful to them both.

An unbelievable service from an outstanding practice. I have been a patient at both surgeries, first at Preston Road and now at Royal Crescent. From the reception staff to the nurses to doctors they are like no other surgery I have been a patient at. They answer the phone, you can get an appointment when you need one and there are not long waits to get treated. I would recommend this surgery to anyone.
