Dr Eleanor Costales

Primary qualifications: MBBS MRCGP MRCPCH DRCOG DFFP PGCME
Special interests: Paediatrics, women's health and family planning

Working Days: Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays

Qualified in 1997 from St. George’s Hospital Medical School in London.

Dr Costales was born in the Philippines but has lived in the UK since childhood.

Her first post was at Weymouth and District Hospital.

She then worked as a Paediatric doctor for four and a half years in London including Guy’s and St Thomas’ Hospital and Southampton General Hospital before becoming a General Practitioner. Since then she has lived locally with her husband who is an A&E doctor at Dorset County Hospital.

Dr Costales has been a GP at Preston Surgery since 2005, which she says she has thoroughly enjoyed. She became a Partner of the Practice in July 2007.

In her spare time she enjoys painting, reading and gardening.
