Heidi Crompton

Primary qualifications: MSc BSc (Hons) RN NMP

Advanced Nurse Practitioners are experienced nurses who have carried out additional clinical training and education. The scope of practice is similar to that of a  GP and Heidi deputises for the GPs at the practice.

Heidi trained in the Northwest before joining the practice in 2009. She specialises in health inequalities and has a special interest in Learning Disabilities and the  Homeless. She leads an outreach service for the homeless at a local homeless hub. She is responsible for managing the nursing service at the practice and she is also the 'Health Inequalities Lead' for the local Primary Care Network.
